Bruno Poellhuber, Ph.D., directs LAVIA. A full professor in the Faculty of Educational Sciences and academic director of the Centre for University Teaching (CPU) at the Université de Montréal, he is a member of CRIFPE and LIRES.

His areas of interest and expertise concern the use of digital technology for learning in higher education, whether in face-to-face teaching, distance education or technology-assisted learning. Author of several works on the digital literacy of teachers and students, he co-led the team responsible for the digital competency framework (MÉES, 2019) and contributed to updating the framework to include AI literacy.
