ESIES 2025 graduation ceremony, Costa Rica
The Inter-American School of Higher Education (ESIES) is an initiative of a group of research centres and higher education institutions, driven by the Inter-American Organization for Higher Education (OUI), which aims to strengthen advanced training and research in the field of higher education. Its first edition was held in San José, Costa Rica, in 2025. The second edition will take place in Santiago, Chile, in 2026.
Who it is for
- Doctoral students or postdoctoral fellows whose research areas lie in the field of higher education.
- Early-career researchers (less than 5 years since completing their doctorate) whose research areas lie in higher education.

The list of participants by cohort and institution is being prepared by the Network’s coordination.
