Cristina D’Ávila
Full professor in the Faculty of Education of the Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA), Brazil. Researcher at LIRES, Université de Montréal.
Cristina D’Ávila is full professor of didactics at the Federal University of Bahia, Brazil. She holds a degree in pedagogy (1983), a master’s in education (1992) and a doctorate in education from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA, 2001). She also completed a postdoctoral stay in educational psychology at the Université de Montréal (2006-2007) and a postdoctoral stay in university teaching at the Sorbonne, Paris-Descartes, France (2015-2016). She is carrying out a research stay at the Université de Montréal (2022-2023, funded by Capes/Print) to develop a comparative study of the pedagogical support offered to teaching staff at universities in Quebec and Brazil. Cristina is currently scientific director of the National Association of Didactics and Pedagogical Practices (ANDIPE) and leads the research group Education, Didactics and Play, GEPEL/PGEDU/UFBA.
