Mirta Crovetto Mattassi

Doctor in Human Nutrition from the Universidad de Chile, she has researched food consumption, obesity and public health policy, with an emphasis on university and young populations. She has coordinated multicentre studies on food and quality of life, and her publications have reached more than 1,400 citations on Google Scholar, establishing her as a reference in nutrition and public health in Chile.

In advanced training, she has taught on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and supervised theses in nutrition, community health and public food policy. Her experience combines research with institutional management, contributing to the consolidation of the Faculty of Health Sciences and to the university’s links with the national health system.
