Lourdes Nayeli Quevedo Huerta
Full professor «B» at the Universidad de Guadalajara, Mexico. Researcher and coordinator of the Doctorate in Higher Education Management at the University Centre for Economic and Administrative Sciences.
Researcher in higher education, mainly on the administration and management of graduate programmes and on the labour markets of graduates from education-oriented postgraduate degrees. She is a level I member of the National System of Researchers.
Her career has regional projection: in June 2025 she was elected representative of the CLACSO Member Centres in Mexico for a three-year term.
In advanced training, since 2013 she has coordinated the Doctorate in Higher Education Management (003386), part of the National System of Graduate Programmes of the Ministry of Science, Humanities, Technology and Innovation (SECIHTI), and also coordinates a master’s programme. She sits on the Academic Board of the Master’s in Higher Education Management and Policy. She teaches at undergraduate and postgraduate level at the Universidad de Guadalajara and at the Jalisco Ministry of Education, and supervises undergraduate and postgraduate theses.
Her career combines research with academic management: she has taken part in creating two diploma courses, four master’s programmes and two doctorates. She has worked in a range of private education institutions, among them the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (ITESO), the Liceo Franco Mexicano, the Instituto de Ciencias de Guadalajara and the Comunidad Investigación y Desarrollo Educativo de Occidente (IDEO).
She holds a doctorate in Education from the Universidad de Guadalajara, a master’s in Educational Research from the Centre for Pedagogical and Social Research (CIPS) of the Jalisco Ministry of Education, and a degree in Social Work from the Universidad de Guadalajara.
